Newsletter Issue 12
Message from The Headteacher
A chilly start to Friday reminds us that we are moving into winter and that there are just three weeks left of term. Children in years five and six have received cycle training this week, increasing their confidence in cycling on the roads. Thanks are due to the instructors and Mrs. Turner Proud who leads our School Travel Plan, which is an essential part of our school qualifying for this free training.
The Autumn colours are very beautiful at the moment and we have some wonderful trees crowned with reds and yellows surrounding our school. You can read about the latest work our gardening team have been busy with in this newsletter, thanks to all our volunteers, Tim, Susan and Linden, I'm really looking forward to seeing the results of all the bulb planting in the Spring.
As in any other year, we're busy with preparations for a junior singing concert and an infant nativity play. Under the current restrictions, we can't invite an audience in to watch the performances, but we will film them and make them available. Thanks in anticipation of your support with learning words and costumes!
Next Thursday sees us move from Lockdown into tier 2 restrictions, this will not impact significantly on school life. Thank you for your support with the adaptions we have made and please do contact us with any questions regarding them.
