Football News - boys team

We welcomed Monkfrith School here on Tuesday for a league game. Unfortunately we didn't get any breaks in the first half and trailed 0-3 at the break. The second half got even worse for us and the final score was an 8-0 defeat. However, we are determined to learn from this experience and come back stronger for our next game!

Thank you to all parents/carers who have phoned in to report their child’s absence over the last few weeks.

Unfortunately attendance is still below the expected 96% and it MUST be improved. Children who are 96% and be-low are not reaching their educational potential and therefore missing a substantial part of their learning.

Holidays will not be authorised. Taking children out of education during term-time for a family holiday is not acceptable and will not be authorised. If you do decide to take your child on holiday you’ll be issued with a fixed penalty notice from Barnet Council. Term absence will only be authorised where there are exceptional circumstances.

We look forward to attendance figures improving.

Thank you in advance for your help.
