Miss Rees will run the London Marathon on 13th April and is holding a fundraising fair for ‘ORBIS saving sight worldwide’ on Friday 28th March at 3:20pm in the school playground. There will be cakes, games face painting and you will get the chance to throw sponge at some of your teachers!

School Closed - National Union of Teachers Strike action - Wednesday 26th March

Due to industrial action by the National Union of Teachers, school will be closed. There will be no Breakfast or After School clubs. The Nursery will be open as usual.

National Union of Teachers Strike action - Wednesday 26th March

The NUT have called a one day strike on Wednesday 26th March. This is part of the ongoing campaign over pay, pensions and conditions. A number of Hollickwood teachers are members of this union and will not be working on the day. It is likely therefore, that school will be at least partially closed on the 26th. It is still possible that the strike will be avoided if Michael Gove agrees to participate in talks with the union, however, we are advised

Parent Consultations

Parent consultations will take place on Thursday 13th March between 1:30pm and 7pm. This means that for KS1 and KS2 (Y1-Y6) the school will close at 1:30pm and all children will need collecting at this time. The appointment times were sent out this week if you need to rearrange, please speak to the class teacher.

World Book Day

On Thursday 6th celebrating the World Book Day. This is when children can come to school dressed up as their favourite book character. 

 

Parent Consultations

Good Bye

Sally Sadly Sally Blissett is leaving our school today. We are all going to miss her as she has been a brilliant support for past 8 years and we wish her all the best in the future.

 

Netball result

We had a very first netball fixture against the very experienced and highly drilled Akiva School. We came second but we are very proud of our team!
