This week our children have taken part in many football tournaments. Years 1,2, 3 and a rounders tournament for year 4. Well done to all the children who took part and thank you to the parents and adults in making the effort to get your children to the destinations on time.

A huge well done to the girls from years 2 and 3 who came runners up in the final they put in a huge effort and did themselves and the school very proud.

 

Friends of Hollickwood

The Gardening club have been very busy again this week and as you can see from the list attached would be grateful for donations of Terracotta pots, pallets, stones, rocks, slate, old garden hose and any external paint.

Bag2school bags have been sent home, please do return the filled bags to school by 9.00am on 25th June.

Non School uniform day in return for Tombola prize donations on 29th June.

We are also after donations of Nail polish and polish remover and cotton wool pads.

All will be used for our Summer fair on 7th July 2018.

Well done to Year 6 students this week for taking their SATS they have coped amazingly well and kept in good spirits throughout.

They have enjoyed a well earned trip to the park today and a party this afternoon.

 

Science fair 26th June

KS2 children can take part in this years Science Fair run by Alexandra Park School. The project can be an experiment to answer a question, a problem and solution or a research project. Based on an area of Science that interests your child.

This week year 6 have taken mock SATs they have coped amazing well. We hope to this continues when they sit the actual tests later this term.

Science week 26th-29th March

There is lots happening at school next week.

Monday 26th March - The children will be learning about job roles based around Science. We are lucky enough to have a radiographer coming in to take an assembly for the children to learn all about X rays.

Easter egg hunt between 9am-12 noon
