Congratulations to Ella, Tilia and Ja-mie (Year 4) Mooi, Mila and Matthew (Year 5 ) on their new role as Junior Travel Ambassadors. We look for-ward to seeing all the great work you get up to this year.

Fox in the playground

We have a resident fox in our wild garden area. It regularly comes in to the playground and seems curious about what we are all doing. We have sought advice and have been told that were we to have the fox re-moved, then the space would very probably be taken by another fox. We have also talked to all of the children about being respectful in our behaviour towards the animal and not deliberately scaring or antagonising it. I do not believe the fox represents any danger to the children.

Football news

Our boys football team was in action on Tuesday, when we entertained our near neighbours from Coppetts Wood school in a league match. The visitors took the lead direct from a free kick in the first half but we equalised through Kasra in the second. It was a closely contested game that could have gone either way, but a 1-1 draw was a fair result. The match was played in an excellent sporting spirit. More fixtures for the boys and the girls team are lined up for after half-term.

Harvest Festival

This year we will be donating food to the Muswell Hill Food Bank. Please donate any dry food you can spare and bring it to the school office. Thank you for your help.
