H.M.I. visit

Last Friday we were visited by an Ofsted inspector. This was our monitoring visit following our inspection last September. The inspector spent the day with us, went into every classroom and looked at a range of children's work. He also talked to senior leaders, teachers and the Chair of Governors. The day went well and the letter will reflect the progress we have made towards addressing

Boys Football

Our football team had a fixture this week, as they complete their league games. The title may have gone, but the team gave 100% in a very entertaining match against St John's. We were 1-0 up at half time and scored freely in the second half, ending up 6-0 winners. The match was played in a very good spirit and there was enjoyment and laughter on both sides! Very well done to the team and particularly to Katie, Kasra and Jay - who were all making their debuts - and to Lee for scoring a hat trick

Girls Football

Hollickwood Girls Football team played a home game against St John’s School yesterday. We took an early lead however we found ourselves trailing 2:1 at the break. We couldn’t get back into the match 2nd half and St. John’s added the third. Everyone played well and it was a very even game.

The Girls' Football team have played two matches recently. Last week we travelled to Tudor School. It was cold and windy but the girls adapted well to the conditions. There were chances for both sides but ultimately it was a day for goalkeepers, not

“What a fun way to learn about science! Animals, noise, mess, water, making and growing – so many activities” (Reception)
“Very enjoyable lesson, fantastic seeing how my son is taught – look forward to the next one.” (Year 3)
