Cuffley Camp

Year 4 had a great time on their overnight stay at Cuffley Camp last week. Toasting marshmallows was a highlight!

A big thank you to Madeleine who came into school to share her musical tal- ents for Nursery, Reception and Year 2 . The children really enjoyed the expe- rience.

Bronze Healthy Schools Award

We have recently received a Bronze Healthy School award. Well done to everyone for following our healthy school ethos. Lets get ready for the Silver award in September.

 

Sports Day

Well done to everyone who participated in this weeks KS1 and KS2 Sports Days. Despite the hot weather the children had fun competing in the egg and spoon race, sprinting and the bean bag race!

 

Year 1 trip to the British Museum

Year 1 Africa Day

Year 1 had a great time last Friday playing African drums ,making masks and learning an African dance.

 

Reception trip to the RAF Museum

Reception class had a fantastic day on Thursday. They enjoyed the workshops about helicopters and making their own ones out of paper. The day was filled with excitement and big smiles. Thank you to all our amazing parents who helped on the trip!

Year 2 Trip to the RAF Museum


Year 2 had fun at the RAF Museum on Thursday and had an interesting talk
about ‘The History of Flight’.

 

Allianz Park Athletics


Well done to all children who took part in the Barnet schools athletics event at Allianz Park on Tuesday. All the children were amazing and 7 came 1st place in 

the track races. Thank you to all the parents who attended and showed their
support.

Origami Fun

Reception children enjoyed making origami sculptures this week and they have learnt how to make a dog and an air balloon. Thank you to Akiko, Hanko's mum, for teaching us this

 

Year One Fundraising

Miss O’Brien and the class are really excited about African Day on 23 June but we need to raise some extra funds to pay for it. After school on Friday 26 May (the day we break up for half term) we will have a stall selling toys (old and new), books, ice creams and drinks. Please could you let me or Rita (Lora’s Mum) know if you can donate anything or if you’re around to help out. The more the merrier. Thank you. Jude (Kitty and Freddie’s Mum).

Keelan Phillips

On Thursday afternoon we will be receiving our Big Pedal Prize. Pro freestyle BMX rider Keelan Phillips is visiting Hollickwood for a stunt show! He will perform for all children from Reception to Year 6. We cannot wait to see his amazing skills in action!
